What We Do

  • Provide internship opportunities for students and young adults

  • Provide networking opportunities with professional associations and individuals who can assist in career development/advancement

  • Serve as a resource in various areas students and young adults are in need of (such as resume & essay writing, etc.)

  • Strengthen ties between Korean-Americans youth & young adults to rise together

Internship Placement

We utilize a variety of ways to place you an internship:

  • Our specialist Teresa Yi is an experienced professional who can find you internship opportunities based on your interests

  • Advisor Richard Lee, currently the Queensborough President’s Budget Director can help place you with an elected official or campaign

  • We can connect you with businesses or organizations that have partnered with us

  • We can place you with a Korean-American non-profit organization, providing an opportunity to gain experience while serving the Community

  • You can join one of NYC Council Member Paul Vallone’s special Initiatives advancing and assisting the Korean Community

Message to Role Models & Leaders

As much as Korean-American students want to invest in their future, our pathway to success is often limited to academics.

No matter how hard we study, we still lack access to internships and real-world work experiences. We need people to share their success with us, and open up doors to provide connections.

When professionals provide insight into their everyday work, young Korean-Americans will benefit tremendously by connecting with successful individuals in their fields, learning from their experiences, and exploring different career paths.

In this way, we’ll help each other towards higher positions in all industries and achieve more as a community.
